Cosmos Laughing

I said to the tree:

I feel pity for you

As

You can’t come out of the soil

You can’t live without carbon dioxide 

You can’t move away from your roots

You’re dressed in the same green attire, always

 

Tree replied back:

I feel pity for you as well 

As

You can’t leave this planet

You can’t live without oxygen 

You can’t move away from your society 

You’re dressed in the same flesh, always

 

“Do we have something in common?”

We asked each other

And we heard the entire cosmos laughing…….
