College Memories
College Memories
The struggle began at 7 in the morning, me trying to get out of bed
Then running for college without bathing, dressing while eating my bread
Dozing off in the first lectures, many used to be in their dreams
Taking their pictures at such funny times, I laughed while making their memes
Countless pages were filled with tic tac toe, every time we used to play
Doodling pictures on the benches and notes, somehow we survived the day
Canteen was where we went hunting, nothing was left for the late
Fooling our friends in the disguise of sharing, everything they bought we ate
The playground was the fun place, the part we loved the most
Playing football with anything we found, placing our bags as the post
Dance, drama and music, all kinds of events we had each year
We bunked the lectures to watch them perform, not missing the chance to cheer
Then came the time we had to part, emotions were running high
We friends gathered in our beloved college, to say a final goodbye
Today we work from nine to five, deadlines and bosses making us mad
Now we reflect on those years of college, remembering the best time we had
