Chaotic Amber

Wipeout all the fairy lights,

Let the candles run dry,

This moment is probably someone’s last sigh.

Let the wolves howl

At midnight,

For with the arrival of darkness they loom in my sight.

Not afraid,

Never afraid,

Because to be afraid would divide wrong from right,

And to be anything other than shiny Knight,

Will not be tolerated in the global height.

If you’ve made it this far despite the chains of constraint

I hope you know I understand this bane.

I know we’ll never be the same,

But it’s not you, it's us,

At least I hope so,

Because in this madness,

That’s the only thought keeping me sane.
