Candle
Candle
I am the bright light in the party,
Adding to the glow, fun and frolic.
When the night has gone by,
No one bothers for me ever.
I am the candle in a birthday party,
Blown away by happy kids and laughter surround.
For in my extinguished form,
I am the source of claps and joys abound.
I continue to burn and give you warmth.
Never asking how much you need,
Never giving the king more or the pauper lesser,
To the needy, the old and young alike.
I am the source of all faiths and prayers,
And connect with the Almighty above.
I perish the darkness of the unknown,
And provide you the way to clarity.
A candle each in the hands of all,
Can show the world a much-enlightened path.
I burn and burn and burn till I die,
But before going, I kindle a ray of hope in all.
