Broken Promise

It all started,

When you promised.

Promised, that you would stay;

Stay together, as we go.

Go together, as we grow.

And we did...

We did go, but;

Little did I know,

You were planning to leave,

What we planned to keep.

Our friendship that stood upon nothing but innocence and trust,

Now, was made of menace and dust.

I wish, that you knew, how much..

How much I cried;

and tried To keep you beside me,

but, I couldn't. 

But I knew,

You wouldn't, too.

Because, you had made up your mind.

And the picture you have now,

Doesn't include; the image of mine.

So, I'll go; cause, I know,

That it's better that way.

And still, when I wake,

I call your name,

but all you did, 

was to play a stupid game! 

I wish, you knew,

How hurt I really am.

Because, what you see is refined;

and not really what I feel

But then, can you really feel?

So, I'll take it back from when I said,

that "I love you."

As, even though I do,

It wouldn't affect you!
