Brimming Light

I went to a dark place to hide from you 'oh' brimming light.

The peace was so calm that I sang from my heart, and visioned everything without my sight.

Where your light shows my scars around the globe,

My darkness covered it all being the only hope.

When your light comes again as a reminder to lower my esteem,

My darkness ends 'it' with an artistic and beautiful dream.

You create shadows and leave them be wherever you go,

My darkness accepts each and every one of them and brings them home.

Why don't you stop for a night 'oh' brimming light, and give us the 'evening' to wipe our tears and soothe our sight.
