Tragedy

Break Up

Break Up

1 min 8 1 min 8

It called me out,

Many times,

And went ignored,

It made cute faces,

Creating a glamour,

And went rejected,

It tried and tried,

Just for my acceptance,

But Oh! It was all in 'VAIN'.

Today I picked up a 'PEN',

Caught hold of it,

Drew lines,

That traveled miles,

Wrote words,

That conveyed much,

But Oh! It was a pity,

On my behalf,

That my PEN could only ink,

The checks which are pink,

The waist which is thin,

The eyes which are green,

The body which is slim,

And I lose control upon the words,

Which painted an unending beauty in the dark world.

Instead, vanities approached, proposing me,

Words from my pen turned out to be trivial,

And to be worst, it doesn't stop here,

My pen climbs the words' stair,

Announcing a thumbs up,

Ah! It's a 'BREAK UP'.

And till date, I just stare,

At those stories that were,

Long back, a choir,

Of me and my pen being together!
