Talk To Me, Father
Talk To Me, Father
Can’t you see, that your darling daughter,
Is all messed up, her eyes flooded with tears
Holding my finger, once you gave the promise
That it would disturb you all day
If my eyes were red, red with the colour
Of anguish
Don’t stay silent, say a word, or simply open
Your arms and say, come in, daughter
But today your arms are as cold
As your own body, because
Your heart has given up beating
Today you are peacefully lying on a hospital bed,
Papa, get up, it’s already time to rise up,
The alarm has exhausted out its voice,
Shouting, ringing for hours
But you are not giving up on your sleep
The sun let drop a piece of water, which
Mashes on the ground, unnoticed and unheard
It says, I will miss you old friend,
I will miss you, for an eternity
Dear God, you who are the Father of mankind
You said, you hear the tiniest prayers
Of your children on earth
But why, you are turning a deaf ear to me
Why, are you turning your back?
I need my father, I need him
Return him to me, please
