Book Of His Life
Book Of His Life
The word was boy he grew up to be a man,
The first few steps were to run, play, eat, and sleep,
Each of the pages told his story.
A new chapter he had to write of love and hate tears and joy,
Love did bloom and the flowers bloomed,
A walk through the pages of life did become rough winding and tough.
Love then opened another chapter,
Where the lust of the world did ruin his first love,
But that chapter he did close to win back the love he long ago did fight for,
The pages he skipped to start a new.
Yet the pages were flipped to read the story of the past,
Never did he find a way to begin another chapter,
For sadly he stopped writing his life story,
The day love drowned him in an ocean of regret,
