Blind devotion of love (free verse)

Everyone says love is blind, is it really? 

A man's eye is always on his girl,

Seeing her laugh with her friends,

Imagining his future with her—

She's literally his world. 

For her, he is just a classmate,

A tiny piece of her world.

She doesn't know that she means everything to him. 

He's such a deep lover, 

she is the light in the darkness,

The rainbow in this colourless world of emotions,

The fresh aquamarine water in this drought of feelings,

The pleasant sound in a world where everyone's voice is mute to him. 

He could do anything to keep her,

But she doesn't know him that much.

Yet, he decides to love her for eternity,

And enjoy his imagination of her in his poetry. 

Yes, indeed, love is blind.
