Birth Of Freedom

The day when freedom came to birth,

The day when India united on earth,

Inspiring souls is it’s magic;

That’s why, we always remember,

Its 15th Aug, it’s evergreen day.

 

They did not shed the blood,

Bullets were not fired by them,

But gave birth to our freedom,

Thus we celebrate the day,

Its 15th Aug, it’s celebration day.

 

Carried just the flag,

And fought for country’s sake,

Do or die was only the mission,

That’s why we pray for them,

Its 15th Aug, it’s memorable day.

 

The day for which Indian blood had paid,

Foundation of freedom was laid,

Ceased nothing and gained everything,

Heavens are waiting for them,

Let’s all unite on this day,

Its 15th Aug, its independence day.
