Bid Adieu

He made a mistake,

His worries turned into jealousy,

Her ears refused to hear his critics,

He spoke to her with arrogance, hatred and regret but underneath all when he coated all the disheartening words with fragrance of pride, she loved it .

 Maturity carved heart,

His regrets reflects his emotions,

His wrinkled hands and face confirmed his age ,

He was lost tonight to apologise,

Tears filled eyes wrote an apology letter.

Maybe one day…

What was supposed to be their true love, 

Of bodies and souls facing the future,

And of souls to souls facing the night,

About the true love that he told her the wintry night of christmas.

But the passion came out to be just a feverish dream,

And through time which meant only an instant flashbacks of the memories they had together,

Age old eyes could only saw a bleeding soul,

So lips thought to bid adieu the bygone memories.
