BALANCE
BALANCE
Wearing the most beautiful attire
A decision she took to acquire
A family so different of hers
Their expectation she thought
Could it ever be reimbursed ?
Travelling through the vehicle of her dreams
As a nomad in the medical realm
Following the religion of doctors as one
Blabbering linguistics of medicine was fun.
But now as the decision was taken
The age old practices she lingered
“Shouldn’t it be forsaken?”
Science nurtured her heart and soul
While the fossilised beliefs of society
split her role.
In the balance between the family and career
She succumbed through times multiple
due to fear,
Fear of losing her beautiful relations
Fear of ruining that learnt in medical profession.
She gazed at the flight of birds
Thinking “ Could it ever be possible for
a married little nerd”
Traversing commotion across the auditory canal,
the echo of collisions subsided by building
the greatest wall.
