Reflection Of Thoughts

The sand scratches my feet

Sweat covering me as a sheet

The sun is more than burning

While my heart is churning

I can't see anything beyond the sand

Wishing at the end, there is a happy land

Walking for hours and hours

Finally I see some flowers

I thought this is the end

But it's just a bend

All that I see is an oasis and few trees

The coolness of the shade makes me freeze

What I see in water is my reflection

Then I have this recollection

I think to myself, why do I have to wait for the end

When this place is such a beautiful land.
