Nature's crisis

Nature has elements so multiple,

The greenery under which we shelter,

The logs of those shed, for monetary gain we cater;

Dairy which tags our diet as wholesome,

Be it plants or animals, all play their role without ransom.

But where does human lie in this chain of survival,

his contribution is petty and minimal 

He, the initiator of cutting trees down leaving behind acres of land,

He, the intruder in the biodegradable system

Carelessly using plastic even though banned,

He, a meager trespasser to the natural chain,

continues to think for his own gain.

So, a question to all, may I ask,

Towards our nature what is our most important task?

Either creating a world synthetic and mean

Or let flourish the flora and fauna, 

on which our every breath leans.
