Back To A Cancerian Memory
Back To A Cancerian Memory
Sweet chilli, hot pepper
Hot chocolate and it grew a little hotter
When I almost tasted the caramelised scent
Of the sugar in the pastry shop adjacent... adjacent, adjacent
To the perfume shop, I sent
A ten million smile to my man and said
Lend me your card, I said
Let me blow up the cash you piled in the bank,
Looking for an excuse, blank as the sight of you on the bench
When all I can see is a mama on a bench
Lamenting the death of a resilient
Who lost a battle against a resilient
Cancer that lived and believed you never believed in life
So it took it back from you and stab a knife
Deep deep hard inside your faith in life
Served you death on with a strife
Between you and life.
Oh yeah! It was the death of life.
