Attractive Morn
Attractive Morn
Waking up to a lazy morn,
I felt like a baby, just born.
Under the blankets I wished to snuggle,
Wrapping them around, I did struggle.
The sun played hide and seek,
When I took a sneak-peak.
The rays marched through the fog,
And I was in no mood for a jog.
The white layer, masked the sky,
As though, protecting something from my eye.
I wondered aloud… "What could it be?
Should I probe, or just let it free"?
Slowly, but steadily, the curtains moved,
To the birds call they grooved.
The cerulean hue shone so bright,
Like the starlit sky at night.
I opened my eyes wide,
And kept my laziness aside.
Such a sight! Aah… So attractive,
Made the lazy me, active.
