At The Juncture Of Life I Stand
At The Juncture Of Life I Stand
At the juncture of life, I stand
Beholding the labyrinths of crossroads
That divulge before me
The question before me is obvious: which way folks?
Well, the path is chequered like the rainbow
Each straying divergently
Leading to unique Eldorado
Adorned with its own splendour.
I see the path to economic prosperity
And another intellectual prowess
Well, another path heads to political power
And also a path of social artistry, leading to fame.
A path with pale inscription I behold
Obviously leading to an unpopular destination
And there is found the path to philosophy
And another path that leads to divinity
Also a path of internal peace and Fulfilment.
So against all odds
I chose the unpopular path
The tiny path with the pale inscription
For in it I'm persuaded, is encapsulated
The seed of fulfilment of all my desires
The choice is only golden
When done to justify oneself
And not that of others...
