CUP OF HUMANITY
CUP OF HUMANITY
CUP OF HUMANITY
Today, we rally, under the banner of humanity
To lift the cup of humanity
The fountain of milk and honey, springing warmth like geyser
From whence we scoop, the cream of existence
Affording us the heat we need to keep our hearts pulsating
The cup of humanity, hope of humanity
Is ebbing low
We have drunk enough from it fountain
It's no more time to draw from its well
It's time to give back, and refill its depths
With affection, care and freewill
Let us all rise to the occasion
The cup of humanity, fountain of hope
Must not cease to flow
Let us invoke our conscience, let us muse our instincts
And refill the cup of humanity
We have a duty to our conscience
Let love, peace and unity
Let justice, fair play and equity
Let goodwill, discretion and equity
Let virtues fill the cup of humanity
Let us conquer our ego, not our enemies
Let us rule over our conscience, not over people
Let us enslave our emotions, not our subjects
A duty we have to our conscience
Only when we pay our dues
In refilling the cup of humanity
That we can drink from it fountain
Let love should be our vehicle, honesty our driver, and kindness our fuel
In this quest to refill the cup of humanity
