I Will
I Will
Everyone has a dream, like a star
Which they may never touch
But if they dare to believe it will
Lead them to their destiny, it is such.
This grueling path to dreams,
Is not easy for certain,
But in this journey to ‘my’ zenith
To stop me there is none.
Even if the opportunity doesn’t knock,
I will build a door,
For this precious dream, I call “mine”
I will work more and more.
To test my belief, persistence, and faith in my dream,
Hard times will be many
But even in my darkest hour, I will say,
Try me, not ”why me”.
Even if I am knocked down
A hundred times by failure,
I promise to get up,
Only ten times stronger.
The only person, I will strive to be better than,
Is what I was yesterday,
Even if my dream is lost in a
Labyrinth, I will always find a way,
People may say “It’s enough”
But I won’t give up that soon,
Cause, how can the sky be the limit
When you have footprints on the moon?
I dream to be higher than I can grow
Farther than I can go,
Deeper than I can see,
Better than I dream to be,
And I know that in this endeavor,
I’ll always have me.
