Habits I don't need in hundreds

Waging a war on my five senses

A war which I cannot win

Without your help given

My intellect bows to you in reverence

To guide me through this occurrence

In the midst of the war

When the arrows pour

Oh Krishna! stand by my side

And let not my life slide

Towards useless leisure

Or sensuous pleasure

Let my path be lightened

And my life enlightened

With your Dharma

Despite my bad Karma.
