An Ode to Mother Earth
An Ode to Mother Earth

Oh mother!
You're due another big bang—
to give birth to the day before you,
where unearthed nature will rise;
from it's longest slumber back to life...
Oh mother!
Take out your rainbow palette once again,
showcase your artistry over mortality—
with your finest strokes to nature's canvas;
create the masterpiece of living harmony..
Oh mother!
Your melody is nonpareil, the purest of sounds;
that you orchestrate through the sweetest bird's symphony—
One can hear it in rustling leaves,in babbling rivulet,
waltzing wind and even in shimmery raindrops
….
Oh mother!
Ornate yourself, in your grassy velvet;
bless 'em all, that are wild and free….
May we find our way back to your primal womb—
May your wisdom tree flourish in archaic glee….
Oh mother!
You're tenderer than mountain air,
You're fierce, strong and full of fire…
You are the Nightingale of world's first choir—
The one eternal, in cosmos attire…
Mother, you are master in the truest of forms;
Summon us— for the monsters we've become….
Heal our spirit–back to the ancient roots,
May we then evolve, in a creature profound..
