Dark Confetti on Death's Carcass

Was it a midsummer night's dream??

When I first saw that white summer dress?

Even the darkness shined through~

the chest of hidden secrets…

The myth has my witness~

behind the veil of life—

As the sun won't shine,

where life and death intertwine…

I slept burying my dreams, deep within clouds~

Hoping they won't find me…

But memories of the last summer;

left grey skies for crying eyes~

and ghosts of my past….

Burning on the stake of morality,

oozing outta burning souls….

Not all nights have stars—

Some got a pyre's remain in them,

Like dying stars~meddled between;

to live or not to live….

I cry no more for the dead,

I seek no more for the living,

>

I play crossover to the soul~

On colourless layers of reality…

I love the smell of napalm in the morning;

that reminds me of a haunting nightmare…

Lost in the midst of the unknown,

There the devil sings its melodies—

Like whispers of the summer breeze…

And these gruesome pieces of the mind,

that stitching my open skin~

I let them kill me slowly;

behind those smiling facades….

The death of us, lost in the ashes of time—

Like a forgotten dream,

we left the glitching truth behind…

It's you. It's me. It's us.

We are dark confetti on death's carcass..

It's poetry wrapped in the tragedy of love…

And I've killed for you, honey,

Who else can say that??
