An Embrace

An embrace is all I need,

To feel secure and complete.

In your arms I find the courage,

To battle my demons of past and present.

I know I am brave,

And can fight the darkness alone.

Yet at times I feel afraid,

Seeking for a safe abode.

At that moment you give me shelter,

Your warm embrace acts as a magical gesture.
