An Abandoned Child
An Abandoned Child
The hungry child sat on the road;
Looking much thin and lean,
Searching for food he never gets bored;
It has become his daily routine.
He doesn’t have a cloth to wear;
He can’t feel uncomfortable a bit,
No piece of cloth to take his body’s care;
It has become his habit.
For him no safety is assorted;
No house to save him from flood or sleet,
He has to feel protected;
He’s compulsoned to have this feat.
Darkened is his every day;
He has his misfortunes piled,
His every day ends with dismay,
Because he is, ‘An Abandoned Child’.
