Already In Lockdown

Oh, my poor life!!!!!

Whenever with a zeal I write

Ink fades from my sight

Facing rejection in a stride

I write again with all my might

How desperately I desire to live my dream life.....

My dreams waver, stagger and seize

As the sway of breeze withers the leaves with ease

Time after time my dreams vanish away

With feelings of betray, I fall to my knees

Giving a bow to my ill-fated destiny

Without dreams being fulfilled

I feel frugal and lockdown

And my broken dreams linger around

Like a wild haunted cloud....

The actual lockdown came with all the clout

And closeness was in drought

Difficult it is to silence your freedom

Staying home being the new wisdom

Else the virus can destroy the human kingdom...

A striking resemblance with my condition

Every living soul of all generation

Staring at the endless night in melancholy

Suppressing their existence aimlessly

Only darkness in vicinity .......
