All I Wanted

All I Wanted

1 min

There was nothing I wanted more than peace of mind. I longed to be in a place far away from my demons. I searched for paradise, I looked for redemption but it seemed like the more I stretched, the more redemption flee from me. I wanted a clean start, all I wanted was a new beginning but I guess we can't always get what we want. I opened the fridge and got a bowl of ice cream.

"It seems I can't run away from you no longer", I said to the bowl of ice cream as I embraced obesity and diabetes.
