Alauddin's lamp

I never believed in that lamp until that day,

I was swimming in the river,

All of a sudden the river flow increased,

And I felt the current pulling me inside,

It was then I saw something glowing,

On the sand bed underneath the water,

Where the water was shallow near the banks,

It glimmered and there was an aura around it,

I slowly lifted up and opened its lid,

Everything went blank and I was lying on the veranda of my house,

Then I realised the only wish I had was to return home safely,

Now I miss the lamp..
