Aftermath
Aftermath
After living a dream,
I was back to the realm of the real,
It did not feel like it should have felt,
It was a bit queer,
like numbness pervading through bones,
It was like every other day,
When you travel to a place
and you come back home,
While sitting on the couch looking outside the window,
Contemplating and traveling along the time
I went to a place where I saw myself,
I was on my knees not because I lost,
No, I won that day and I asked myself,
"Where are you ?"
"Where is the paradise you lived in the future ?"
I opened my eyes from the oblivion,
I saw myself, A soul much finely tuned,
Not an obscure one,
It said, " it was the heart that people feel, minds could never be understood, let alone read."
After some moments of imagery,
I was back from the window
Back on my couch,
Back from the oblivion,
But back to the real
Back to the live back to the rhyme
I am back to my own home.
