Accepting Rejection

I feel sick

My eyes are burning

I can cry anytime

Why do I feel like this?

This is not something new

In the past, I have been through this

This is the feeling of rejection

It does not hurt so much all the time though

But when someone you love does this

It hurts the most

It is happening to you

You can’t accept this

This teaches a lesson

You cannot have everything

You need to learn how to live with rejection

Thrive for acceptance

But don’t try to be accepted every time

It is ok not to be ok

It is ok to be wrong

It is ok to get hurt

The key is to never quit
