A VOICE
A VOICE
It was raining cats and dogs
The wind roared with anger
In the pitch darkness, I sat
Caught in the storm alone
The raining noise frightened
So was the howling wind
Knowing well there was none
I cried, “Is there anyone please?”
Surprisingly I heard a voice
“Yes, I am also stranded here!
We cannot go out until” it said
“The rain stops or night ends”
In the black darkness, we started
Talking in a high pitch to hear
What we talked about mattered the least
Another life there was good enough
Unknowingly I fell asleep
When woke, it was a bright day
There was no one there, but me
I wondered if was but my dream.
If it was a soul or a man
This voice I will never forget
Was it true or just my imagination
Ever will be a light of my life
