The Eyes
The Eyes
Her eyes were black and beautiful
Were deep like the ocean floor
They would see all but capture some
The magical eyes would make me divine
The eyes I had loved to watch
They had the power to pull out the heart.
They could read the stories within
Could understand the life lying in
The eyes had a mysterious glance
How badly I had missed the chance
To be the eye of the eyes
Thus, lost my image in the mirror eyes.
The eyes had missed me once
Had adored and loved me once
But I did betray those eyes
Created fumes in front of the eyes.
The eyes did burn and weep
Even I could not that time sleep
I made the eyelids fall and close
The eyes were black and beautiful.
