A Trip Down Memory Lane

Walking down memory lane, knowing things will never be the same.

If I could go back and say something to myself in the past,

I’d tell myself to take life as it comes and not go so fast.

I’d say there’s no point of living today in fear of tomorrow,

Nor dwell on past times and live in sorrow.

When you think of the times gone by, do not only laugh and cry,

But learn from what’s gone wrong and continue to grow from what’s gone right,

Because time is  lost but memory is still in sight.
