A star on a full moon night
A star on a full moon night
To shine like a star,
I prefer the night of the full moon.
Burning myself so far,
But I'm sure no one will look for me soon.
Me so tiny and fire red,
Up against a giant so bright.
You'll never see me through the window from your bed,
No matter how long I fight.
Then his proud mouth open,
"It's not like I try to outshine you."
I said with a smile broken,
"I don't try to mix with the dark too. "
Millions came out that night,
To pat him about his beauty.
Not moving their eye a degree left or right,
To remain unnoticed became my duty.
Then out of the blue came a girl,
Lonely in night so freezing.
Her body shivers her soul whirl,
Ironically she was stargazing.
Her curious eyes fell on the bright giant,
But unlike others, she didn't stop.
Just a little far she found a light faint,
And her heart found warmth in me a red little dot.
