A Shade
A Shade
On the brightest faces,
Shine the glossy colors;
Smiling askew with deep eyes,
They try to hide their ruins.
As many hearts, as many stories,
There comes a bride; left.
But she finds peace in the grand red,
Reminding her of lost love.
There comes a recluse,
Age old - Face wrinkling.
But he finds company in the light pink,
Offering an arm of support.
Amidst all companies, we celebrate,
Company of happiness; this festival of colors.
Let us pledge,
For this happiness to cease never.
