A New Year

2020 was the worst year,

Everybody in their eyes had a lot of tears.

Covid-19 raged throughout,

And the year became a grout.

Couldn't go outside,

And we were bored staying inside.

But we won't give up,

2020's time is up.

2021 is the next year,

Which will have a lot of cheer.

And finally, we would be able to remove our mask with a sigh,

And our hopes would be high.
