A lonely flock

A lonely flock

192

Once a lonely flock flew,

As the strong wind blew.

They searched for food every nick and corner,

As the wind blew stronger.

The leaves shattered into dust,

As the wind made a bust.

Out the window,

Through the door.

They found a bag of seeds,

Between a few twigs and weeds.

They pecked all day,

Even two it may.

Finally, their hunger was served,

And with over time their feathers were curled.

They felt lonely no more,

To get into the room they just had to open the door.
