A Little Light In Darkness
A Little Light In Darkness
In narrow alleys, a small child walks alone,
No gentle hand, no loving home.
His tiny feet are tired and worn,
His nights are long, his heart is torn.
Hands black with labor, face marked with grime,
Yet in his small heart shines a light, sublime.
He dreams of fields where flowers bloom,
Of sunlight, laughter, and a bright, warm room.
The world is harsh, society turns away,
Poverty bites, yet he finds a way.
Though parents leave him, cold and unheard,
Hope whispers softly with a gentle word.
Innocence shines through the darkest night,
A little flame of courage, burning bright.
No chains of sorrow can dim his mind,
He holds onto dreams, leaving fear behind.
One day he will rise, strong and free,
And break the walls of misery.
Until that dawn, he walks with grace,
A small brave child in a cruel place.
