A Letter From Persephone

A Letter From Persephone

1 min 197 1 min 197

Did I tell you how it tasted?

The pomegranate juice dripping down my chin,

Dark and sweet,

And full of sin.

And his hands...

They were silk and satin.

His lips were gold leaf, honey, and cream.

His eyes were starlight

And his grin was the sea.

Mama, you told me to paint my lips

And smile,

Mouth closed.

But when I opened my maw,

Sank my fangs into the fruit,

He drank me in mama;

Mama, he likes sabre toothed girls...

And I quite like his throne.
