A Flower From My Garden

When I got up in the morning,

I saw a beautiful flower in my garden blooming.

So fresh, so beautiful, so colourful,

Made me happy to see God's creation.

Just not a flower that I could see,

It was a God's creation all for me.

That plant I had planted some months ago,

Not aware so fast it will grow.

The petals of this lovely flower,

As if saying, I am creating happy hour.

It's colour so beautiful and bright

That it calms and soothes the eyesight.

It's pollen grain attract the bees,

The nectar of the flower is so sweet.

A butterfly moving around the garden,

Says , let me taste the nectar I pardon.

As I sit in the garden and gaze at the flower,

Happiness surrounds me and I get extra power.

To stay happy and work with everyone together

And to stay cool in this lockdown hour.
