A Dry World
A Dry World
The world is one, a family true
We are all together, me and you
From every corner, near and far
We share the same sky, the same star
But we now see the walls we've built
Between us all, with hate and guilty
Nations fight, people stray
Close bonds grow further away
The stranger's eyes, once full of grace
Now seems so far, a different face
Where is the love, where is the care
In a world splitted, so unaware?
We dreamt of unity
Now lost in enmity
We dreamt of peace, we dreamt of care
Now it feels like no one's there
Still the hope that we can mend
Ponders somewhere quietly-Perhaps someday, the end
