Tapestry of life

Today I made so many mistakes, Today I spilled my coffee, lost my way,
Today my teachers were harsh, I felt so small,
Today I couldn’t study, just wanted to fall.

 Dark thoughts came, heavy and deep,
 Whispering things I didn’t want to keep.
Saw a noose, I began to worry,
My happiest of moments, melted away in the heat of fury

But I heard hope out there,
The soft rain fell, cool and light, The evening breeze felt calm and right
The torpid chirps of the nightingale,
 In that quiet, I turned red and pale

 Today I made so many mistakes, And I am glad I did.
 Little pleasure, lots of strife
 A good fuse of both,
 Afterall it's the tapestry of life!
