A Disgruntled Student
A Disgruntled Student
It is terrible to be a student; that is my candid and considered view,
Invariably we carry a psychological burden; what I say is very true.
We can never sleep in peace—we dream of unfinished assignment,
Leisure time or undiluted vacations-- are not for students meant.
Examinations are a head-ache; they come in a perennial stream,
That we might get the much- needed respite, it doesn’t ever seem!
Daily dreary Classwork and tedious Homework is absolutely boring,
The competition is intense; scholars are interested only in scoring,
So why is this nerve-wracking, continuous, ever-flowing tension?!
Acquiring knowledge; and more knowledge is a futile obsession!
