A Banker To Make Up For Corona

My service is not oriented for any recognition

Let’s expel corona without any ammunition,

My duty is not a scenery

Though this situation is pretty slippery,

I have chosen this as a profession

Consider it as my little contribution,

Banking always remains a fashion

Hence a banker always works in a passion without Corona’s distraction,

I am indulged in deposits and withdrawals

You please adhere to the basic hygiene fundamentals,

While I am into assets and liabilities

You please keep social responsibilities,

This field is very fast with lots of segregation

Let’s follow self-isolation,

It’s not only about an investment or insurance

Let’s follow social distance,

There are online transactions

Let’s all stop Corona expansion,

Though we have con-calls and meetings

You please avoid social gatherings,

We are all working on RBI regulations

So, you all please adhere to govt. regulations,

I am not working in my homeland

So, don't decorate me in garlands,

Give me applause for being at your service

But don't give me applause for otherwise,

I don’t come to the branch for any accolades

So, spare my recognition till Corona evaporates,

I just want to return home safe

When the epidemic ends

Even if all that remains are my bones

I must bring myself home
