A Banana Peel

On the road lay a banana peel,

And as soon as on it I put my heel,

My vision got suddenly sealed,

And the earth, my feet could no longer feel.

"Oh!, What a wonder", I suddenly exclaimed,

As the world turned black and stars popped out.

My brain lost the battle of "The sun is still out!",

And the speed of the world quickly waned.

Ah! The road caught my head,

Rather too soon, I guess it was though.

For some time as still as the dead, I lay.

And then?

And then I continued on my way.
