Been a life trenching year,

Several trials my soul has faced,

Aching, and painting and brutal injuries,

Left me strife-ridden;

In an ocean blue of self-empathy,

Coerced myself to turn a new page,

Finally got on to writing for a change,

Having faith in what's good for me.

Stand up and give this glorious life a try!

Heaven only knows where life shall carry on,

Covid -19 has put us all in a cage,

Learning, to play honestly is de facto brave,

Read books of the old dusty shelf;

A newfound tranquility in my soul,

Calming the blizzard and hailstorm,

Left with peace of a fulfilled day.
