Sambhavi and Ashlesha were school friends . And luckily they were staying in the same city after marriage . So frequently they used to meet in the afternoon time. Because when the husband is in office , they used to go to each other's house alternatively . And families used to meet sometimes during the holidays .

Sambhavi had one son , Nakul , and Ashlesha had a daughter named Riya . Nakul and Riya were also almost of the same age , 6 yrs .

That day Ashlesha went to Sambhavi's house with her daughter Riya during the afternoon . Nakul had just finished his homework that was given by the school . So now both Riya and Nakul started their talk on their favorite cartoon serial " Tom and Jerry " and how they enjoyed it . Also , they were talking about their school friends .

In the meantime , Sambhavi and Ashlesha went into the kitchen and they were having their gossip session and exchange of recipe and Sambhavi started making snacks for four of them . 

After the snacks were ready they both came to the living room where children were talking and playing games . They all enjoyed eating snacks and talking . So Nakul and Riya asked their mother , " hey mom did you also had your favorite superhero during your childhood? " So both said , " yes our father was our first superhero and our most favorite fictional superhero was Phantom . Though we had only one TV channel Doordarshan , so hardly watched cartoons regularly but we were having comics so used to read Phantom regularly . "

Now Ashlesha had to reach home before evening so she and her daughter Riya take their leave and come back home . Riya takes a promise from mom that today's bedtime story will be about Superhero Phantom .

As promised , Ashlesha tell Riya about how this Superhero looked like and what were the comic stories about and how enjoyable and thrilling it was . And tell her about this Superhero...

Phantom , the first costumed Super Hero he was . A very old time fictional costumed crime - fighter from fictional country Bangelia .This character was created by Lee Falk , for Adventure comic , strip and it was debuted in a newspaper on Feb ' 17 .

Phantom was known as the Ghost who walks and believed to have lived for more than 400 years . 

Superman was the first comic superhero of comic books but Costume wise honor goes to Phantom .

How he used to fight , and roam in jungles with animals and also in sea and on boats . He was very adventurous . He had a girlfriend , who also used to wear the same kind of costume as Phantom . 

Nothing was impossible for Phantom . And to read those comic stories was fun as well as we used to admire him for his bravery and the way he used to save innocents and kill the culprits with his pistol....all was fictional but fun to read .

Readers first see Phantom rising out of the sea to rescue beautiful Diana Palmer from Devil , thus putting in motion events that will be repeated many times in coming decades . His blue color costume is most famous and he was one of the handsome superheroes .
