My Possessed Lover

My Possessed Lover

Beneath all that gleaming body

I saw the perfect soul

With the one look from those momentary eyes

There goes my heart that you stole.

Those arms that held me

Were not something that I could call mine

But those touches, baby how can I deny

As brushed as the remittance of a wine

So real, like the reflection of your temporary lips

Yet so light like the touch of a quill

The body that he never owned held me deep

Those ephemeral fingers allured me to sleep

I felt complete yet he was incomplete

I wished to bear in mind that face so sweet

Though that picture was never permanent to keep.

Maybe his words were real

But not the firth with which he speaks.

It was all like a dream but it met the real deeds

Waiting for the inevitable

I saw as he left

Leaving that carcass behind

All my happiness were theft

The figure woke up

But no more the person I knew

His last words were ‘I love you’

But didn’t get a chance to say ‘I love you too’

I looked in everybody

In search of the pretty soul, I adored

His memories were spurious

So was the shape in which he boards.
