The Racing Mind

The gleam in pathway ahead of me,

Left the shadows behind...

As dawn hit the sky..

In myriad colour of golden yellow light.

Misty mountains stood still,

For the cool wind across..

I was puzzled where the path would lead,

With no answers to find..

Yet there was no option but to go all way long.

There were thorns, stones and obstacles..

Still I had to move on.

Wept & restless.. days passed by,

In a silent cry.

I had dreams but no hope..

The sunshine appeared,

As a new light.

The Voice uttered,

You have to pick up yourself..

& Keep walking again !
