Love

Love is a wonderful feeling, 

Makes you forget whatever's happening.

It's something you can't explain,

A mixed feeling of pleasure and pain!

You get to experience the lows and highs,

But without any answer to any 'Why?'.

Like a breeze on a hot summer day,

Or a boat in the ocean, happily drifting away.

A feeling of having someone by your side,

With so much to share and nothing to hide.

Having someone to hold and lean on,

You get courage to tell life, 'Bring it on!'

But sadly it's Colors are not always true,

Real love has been found by hardly few.

Sometimes love is just a mask to hide,

The cruel and dark intentions inside.

Love isn't supposed to hurt and deal,

It should have the strength to heal.

Love itself is a beautiful emotion,

With ego it becomes a deadly combination.

God forbid, if love goes wrong,

It turns your world upside down.

Love is supposed to set you free,

Not keep your heart under lock and key.
